Undergraduate Programmes

Ulster University typically accepts applications from individuals who:

• All Indian Standard XII (Central Boards or a State Board) students must have a 60% overall average, with at least 50% in 5 subjects. Where a course includes subject-specific prerequisites, 60% of each of those prerequisites must be met

Or

• A three-year degree in engineering or technology with a 60% overall grade point average from a state board of technical education (Accredited by ACITE)
• Math at GCSE is required
• Indian Standard XII Grade B: 60%
• Indian Standard XII, Grade C: 50%

Or

• Standard X for CBSE or CISCE
• 60% for grade B
• 50% for grade C

Graduate Programmes

Typically, universities require applicants for taught programmes to have the equivalent of a first-year degree from the United Kingdom (usually in a relevant subject area). Please refer to the online prospectus's detailed description of the specific entry requirements for your selected course of study. Students with high marks in the following are taken into consideration:

• Master's Degree
• 60% of a 2:1
• 55% of 2:1

English Language Proficiency:
