What are the requirements for participation?


The University of South Wales has criteria that are peculiar to the country. The following are the recognized educational qualifications for Indian aspirants:

 

Programmes for Foundations

Students who do not meet the academic prerequisites for direct admission to a bachelor's degree programme should enroll in a Foundation Years programme. Students who have a strong command of the English language, such as an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, are eligible for foundation courses.

 

Undergraduate Degree Programs

In Grade 12, students must achieve an overall grade point average of 60-65 percent, depending on the school board. Applicants with a relevant HND from the United Kingdom or an India Diploma may be eligible for advanced entry to undergraduate degree programmes.

 

Postgraduate Studies

  • Students holding a three-year bachelor's degree in BCom, BBA, BCA, B.Sc, or other related fields must have a 60 percent or CGPA of 6.0/10 or more from a recognised Indian university.
  • A 55 percent or CGPA 5.8/10 and above from a recognised Indian university is necessary for students with a four or five year degree such as BTech, BE, B.Arch, and BPharma, among others.
  • Students must achieve a minimum of 50% or a CGPA of 5.5/10 in Indian universities such as Delhi University, Mumbai University, Jadavpur University, the University of Kolkata, and the University of Pune.
