  • Formerly known as the University of Glamorgan, the University of South Wales- Cardiff, established in 2013, is located in Wales. In 2014, it was granted the title of University of Wales by the Privy Council. 
  • The university has four campuses- Dubai, Newport, Pontypridd and Cardiff.  The university offers 500 courses including accounting, finance, films and visual effects, Renewable and sustainable energy, business and management, biological science and many more. It is the second-largest university in terms of the number of students enrolled. 
  • The university aims at spreading education to tradesmen and workers and focuses on providing students with premium education by using the latest technology, modern software and equipment. Furthermore, the university also offers foundation degrees, master's degrees, top-ups, research degrees, part-time study options and doctoral programs. 
  • University of South Wales - Cardiff campus encompasses the media hub of the university and is closer to BBCStudios and Pinewood Studios. The Faculty of Creative Industries and other courses offered by the faculty of Business and Society is found on the Cardiff campus of the university. Another important aspect of the campus is the Atrium building which is a replacement for the Caerleon campus. 
  • The university gained popularity by securing several prestigious positions. According to The Guardian 2021, it ranks 66th in the University Rankings, 21st in Accounting and Finance Rankings, 17th in Civil Engineering, 102nd University Ranking (UK) as per the Complete University Guide 2021 and many notable ranks making it stand out from the rest of the universities.
