DMU Works programme includes placements, which are a popular and successful aspect of the programme. All students are eligible to participate in a long or short placement to obtain professional skills in the workplace. From a business insight visit to a sandwich year placement working for an employer, they have all kinds of placement opportunities ready in place for you. You can also enrol in their Enterprise Placement Year programme, which allows you to work on your own business idea for a year while earning credit for your degree.

• Placements can have a significant impact on an individual's employability. DMU's short-term assignments allow you to be more flexible. Students might spend 2 to 10 days learning from industry experts in a commercial or technical setting.

• All students can volunteer with DMUlocal to get essential employment experience, and business school students can participate in a 12-week programme too as a part of their course.
