Admission of Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology

Ordinary Bachelor Degree (Level 7) and Higher Certificate (Level 6):

All Higher Certificates (Level 6) and ab initio Bachelor degrees (Level 7) have a minimum Leaving Certificate entry requirement of Grade O6/H7 or better in five Leaving Certificate subjects, including Mathematics and English or Irish, with a minimum of 160 points.

 

Bachelor's Degrees with Honours (Level 8):

A Grade O6/H7 or above in six Leaving Certificate courses, including English or Irish and Mathematics, is the standard minimum entry requirement, two of which must be passed in higher-level papers at Grade H5 or higher.
