Wilfrid Laurier University has five campuses, with the main two in Waterloo and Brantford. It also has campuses in Kitchener for social work faculty and in Toronto for part-time MBA programmes. You can choose from various on and off-campus housing options to facilitate your tenure at the university. 

 

On-campus Accommodation:

 

University provides on-campus residence to all international students. You must deposit a non-refundable fee of 600 CAD to apply for the accommodation. There are mainly two following types of accommodation available for the students:

Waterloo campus has dorms and apartments, whereas the Brantford campus only has apartments for students. All students are mandated to buy a meal plan of the following cost: 

  • Waterloo Campus: 2,374 CAD – 6,155 CAD
  • Brantford Campus: 883 CAD – 1,200 CAD

 

Off-campus Accommodation:

 

International students can also choose off-campus housing near their campus. Wilfrid Laurier University has partnered with a housing website Places4Students.com that provides a variety of residence options, including studio apartments, multiple bedroom apartments, and shared apartments.

 

These apartments include standard amenities such as air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, and high-speed internet access. Depending on occupancy and area, the monthly cost can range from 450 to 900 CAD.
