The University of Windsor has reached its highest-ever position in a major global ranking. In the latest edition of the World University Rankings by the Times Higher Education, the university made a significant leap, moving up almost 100 spots to enter the 501-600 tier for the first time, placing it among the top third of universities globally.

 

On a national level, Windsor was ranked 7th among non-medical Canadian universities and 4th among non-medical Ontario universities. The university improved its research quality and industry scores, earning a place in the top 25% of all universities globally for its research environment, which takes into account productivity, reputation, and income generation.

 

This marks the second time in recent months that Windsor has achieved its highest-ever placement in an international university ranking. In July, it was listed among the top 44% of universities worldwide in the QS World University Rankings. 

 

The University of Windsor consistently ranks among the top universities in Canada. These rankings are determined based on the university's research and teaching excellence.
