Academic Requirements

Undergraduate

• You must have a 3.0 - 3.9/ 4.0 cumulative unweighted GPA from a regionally accredited high school (varies by program/major).
• The University of Guelph is taking the SAT/ACT optional for the Fall 2022 entrance cycle in response to the epidemic.

Postgraduate

Masters

• Successful completion of an undergraduate degree, in an honours programme or the equivalent, from a recognised university is usually the minimal qualification for admission to a master's programme.
• A minimum B average is required (last two years of full-time equivalent study)

Doctoral

• The completion of a graduate/degree master's from a recognised university is usually the minimum requirement for admission to a doctoral programme.
• In their Master's programme, they must have a minimum B average (department may require higher standing)
• Demonstrated a high level of research potential.
