Welcome to John Casablancas Institute, established in 1994 to provide high-quality education and training in the fashion and beauty industry. With a total student population of 1500, including 300 international students, we offer a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

Our campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, located in the heart of the city, providing easy access to industry events and opportunities. We offer a range of popular programmes in fashion design, makeup artistry, and hair styling, tailored to industry standards and trends.

John Casablancas Institute (JCI) offers students a platform to tap into their creative potential with a variety of groups and organizations. There are frequent events organized by these groups, providing students a platform to showcase their talent and learn from their peers.

Libraries and Study Resources

Although JCI does not have a traditional library, it offers students ample study resources. It includes an extensive collection of online resources related to its courses. The institution has an open space concept, encouraging collaborative learning. Advanced resources such as industry-standard software for fashion design, makeup, hair, and body spa are readily available for students.

Labs and Research Facilities

JCI offers hands-on training with its state-of-the-art labs and facilities. Students in Hair Art Design benefit from the fully equipped salon, while Body Spa students enjoy the spa-like treatment room. The Fashion Business and Creative Arts students can take advantage of the Mac computer lab equipped with fashion design software. JCI’s Makeup Artistry program boasts its purpose-built makeup lab.

As primarily an arts institution, John Casablancas Institute does not feature traditional athletic facilities. However, its central Vancouver location means students have access to numerous recreational and athletic facilities nearby outside of the institute.

John Casablancas Institute does not provide on-campus housing. However, owing to its prime location in the heart of Vancouver, students have access to a variety of nearby housing options, including apartments, shared houses, and homestays.
