Georgian College - Orangeville

To be eligible for admission to your desired courses, you must meet the below-mentioned academic requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older by the first day of classes
• Must have no recent unfavourable academic performance
• Must have demonstrated potential for success in degree studies through academic accomplishments
• The admission requirement for degree programs is a high school diploma like Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with 30 credits or equivalent, plus six courses at the 4U or 4M level. Some programs have specific course prerequisites.

To meet Georgian's language competence standards, applicants must meet ONE of the following criteria:

• Three full years of secondary school (high school) English study in a country where English is the primary language (four years for BScN, Pharmacy Technician, and Addictions: Treatment and Prevention). Only Pharmacy Technicians can study in Canada.)
• A full year of study in a recognised postsecondary English programme in a country where English is the primary language is required (not applicable to BScN, Pharmacy Technician and Addictions: Treatment and Prevention)
• A public or Catholic school board must give an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or Canadian provincial equivalent) and English credit (Grade 12 U, M, or C) (not applicable to BScN, Pharmacy Technician and Addictions: Treatment and Prevention)
• Provide proof of completion of one of Georgian College's approved partner school route programmes (not applicable to BScN or Pharmacy Technician)
• Must have completed three years of secondary schooling in an Ontario private school and achieved an Ontario Secondary School Diploma and English credit (Grade 12 U, M or C)
