Off-Campus Accommodation:

Students who live in shared apartments have a private room in a house or apartment with one or more other people. They share a kitchen, bathroom, dining area, and living room area, like townhomes, and typically include a single-occupancy bedroom or living space.
As you begin your new life in Canada, living with a host family may provide you with a sense of security and home. One to three meals per day, as well as internet access, are typically offered by host families in addition to a private, single-occupancy room.

Homestay:

A host family can also share meals with you and provide information about the area. They can also introduce you to Canadian culture and customs. Both shared housing and room-only accommodations (without meals) might be choices. To go to college, homestay residents should plan on taking a 30 to 50-minute bus or train ride. • Always transmit money after visiting the unit or meeting the owner in person to avoid falling victim to fraud on some platforms, like Craigslist
• Schools may suggest a placement agency, direct students to do their own searching for housing, or offer accommodation services internally. Determine the policy of the school and take initiative
• It is not required that you select the accommodations offered or suggested by the school
• Whatever you choose to do, make sure you find housing where you feel safe and secure and where you can study and succeed while you are in Canada
