Academic criteria specify the minimum academic standards that students must meet in order to be considered for a particular course. Students who do not speak English as their first language must additionally complete the University's English language requirements.

Admission requirements for undergraduates
The needed entry score for undergraduate degrees is based on the Australian Year 12 qualification, as determined by the Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR). Each course is assigned an ATAR, which is an estimated score for programme enrollment based on the preceding academic year. This score is listed in the Academic Score by Country section.
