Students can choose from various housing alternatives, including rent, sharing, and homestay. To save money, most international students prefer to share rented housing. The IIBIT staff helps students find housing.

International students are advised to choose homestay living, which involves placement with an Australian family that offers housing and meals. Home stay housing in Adelaide typically costs between $70 and $300 per week. To make the appropriate preparations, IIBIT maintains a list of real estate brokers and hosts. Requests for this service must be submitted by students at least six weeks in advance.

Accommodation for students is available off-campus. IIBIT assists international students seeking rental lodging or homestays, provided requests are received at least six weeks before arrival. Approximate rent ranges from USD 200 – USD 300 per week.
