What are the requirements for participation?

International students must check the programme pages for special prerequisites before enrolling. However, it is critical to identify the university's English language requirements for admission.

• Applicants, both domestic and international, must demonstrate that their English language competence fulfils the minimal requirements for admission to ANU.
• Unless otherwise provided, the most current evidence will be accepted as proof of English language proficiency.

Undergraduate Studies

• Within the last four years, you must have completed two years of full-time (or equivalent) secondary (year 12 equivalent) or higher education in English.
• A study must result in a study sequence or qualification that is acceptable for admission to ANU undergraduate programmes.
• Throughout any assessable period (for example, term or semester) in the academic year, at least 50% of attempted units/courses must be passed.

Programs for Graduate Students

• Applicants interested in pursuing graduate studies must have completed two years of full-time (or equivalent) university study in English within the previous four years.
