IELTS Exam Fee in India to Increase From April 1, 2023!

The new fee, applicable for the IELTS Academic and IELTS General, is ₹16,250.

Currently, the Computer-delivered IELTS and Pen and paper-based IELTS exam costs ₹15,500. Computer-delivered IELTS for UKVI costs ₹15,750.

The good news is, the test fees for IELTS Life Skills (A1 and B1) will stay the same. So, if that's the test you're taking, you won't be affected by the fee hike.

Though the registration fee has increased slightly, there are many ways to take IELTS cost effectively. IELTS recently announced one-skill retake, which allows you to rewrite only the parts you scored least in, for a lower cost. We expect to see more such initiatives in the future!
