Applicants for the program need a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5 and at least 12 psychology undergraduate hours, including general psychology, research methods, and statistics. The program can be completed in either 33 credit hours with a thesis or 36 hours with a Specialty Review Paper. Students must maintain good academic standing after completing 15 credit hours, attend weekly colloquium series, and tailor their coursework and research projects to their goals. Credits more than six years old are not eligible for transfer, and students are expected to decide on their research focus within the first year.
