Established in 1881, the University of Dundee is a public research university at Dundee, Scotland. During its initial days, Miss Mary Ann Baxter and John Boyd Baxter donated £140,000 for establishing the college in Dundee, which marked the establishment of the university. The present campus of the university has been developed in the last 50 years.
The university has consistently ranked among the top universities, and currently, according to QS World University Rankings, the University of Dundee ranks at 322. Courses at the University of Dundee include undergraduate and postgraduate including research degrees.
It comprises 10 schools: School of Business, School of Humanities, School of Science and Engineering, School of Life Sciences, School of Social Sciences, and others. The university currently has a total undergraduate student population of 12,000, and approximately 22% of the student population is international, representing 145 countries.
