Academic prerequisites:

We normally require the following qualifications for our International Foundation in Art, Design, and Media:

  • Indian HSC/Standard XII with a 50 percent or better overall average (all boards including CBSE and CISCE).

We normally require one of the following qualifications for our Bachelor's programmes:

  • HSC/Standard XII in India with a 60 percent or above total average (all boards including CBSE and CISCE).
  • A transcript from a recognized Indian university demonstrating satisfactory completion of Year 1 of a Bachelor's degree.

We normally require the following qualifications for our Master's programs:

  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree (minimum three years) from a recognized university with a grade of 55 percent.
  • We require the equivalent of a UK 2:1 Honours degree in Architecture for the MArch. At the time of application, the exact grade required will be confirmed.

Language requirements in English:

 

  • IELTS scores of at least 6.5 are necessary. Please see this page for the minimum requirements for your course.

  • A minimum of 70% in English is required in Indian Standard XII from a NARIC recognized board (excluding Punjab or Haryana boards).
  • A UCA-approved English test is required for research degrees.
