Applicants need at least a 2:2 Honours degree in engineering or material science. For those with degrees outside engineering or related subjects, application should be made to the Physics course. A Grade B at A Level in Physics (or C with sustained academic progress) and a minimum of one other science or maths at A Level are required. Additional qualifications in science at Masters level or above, or Level 3 qualifications, may also be considered. GCSE requirements include Grade C or 4 in English Language and Mathematics.
