This course centers on supporting individuals facing mental health challenges, emphasizing their strengths, wellbeing, and independence. Students gain practical experience through placements within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, which account for half of the course's duration. These placements include community and hospital settings and offer exposure to independent and voluntary sectors. Students actively participate in mental health nursing activities such as assessment and care provision for diverse patient groups, aligned with their chosen pathway. Additionally, there are opportunities for international placements or experiences during the course.
