Applicants need a minimum of six subjects in the Leaving Certificate, including two H5 (Higher level) grades and four O6 (Ordinary level) grades or four H7 (Higher Level) grades. Subjects must include Mathematics, Irish or another language, and English. Specifically, students must hold a minimum Grade H3 in French, German, Irish, Japanese, or Spanish. Mature students can apply through the CAO, and certain QQI awards are also accepted. Entry requirements vary for non-EU applicants, and CAO points for the course typically hover around 402.
