Degree requirements
Applicants need at least six subjects in their Leaving Certificate, with minimum grades: H4 in one subject, H5 in another, and O6/H7 in four others. English and Irish are required unless exempt. For science-related subjects, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Physics with Chemistry, or Agricultural Science are accepted. Technology can substitute for a Lab Science. Specific grade requirements include H4 in Applied Mathematics if taken, and additional math requirements for older certificates. Mature students and non-EU candidates should meet similar academic standards and apply through appropriate channels.
