Applicants need a Leaving Certificate with a H4 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Agricultural Science. For Advanced GCE A Levels, a Grade C in one of the same subjects is required, while the International Baccalaureate requires a HL Grade 5 in one of these subjects. Additionally, entrants must pass Trinity’s health screening and Garda Vetting, and there is an additional cost of approximately €120 for a uniform for practice placements. Some placements may incur extra travel and accommodation costs outside Dublin.
