UFV’s Business Administration (Aviation) diploma combines advanced aviation training with core business education. The program is designed to prepare students for a career in the aviation industry by combining flight training with academic courses in areas like accounting, economics, communication, and marketing, totaling 30-33 credits. Students complete their flight training at a chosen flight school, earning Aviation licenses and ratings recognized by Transport Canada, which can be completed before, during, or after their business courses. Additionally, students receive academic credit toward their diploma for pilot licenses earned. The program offers flexible options such as switching flight schools, ensuring students have control over their training path, and includes co-op opportunities for hands-on work experience. Starting from September 2024, students who earn their Private and Commercial Pilot License will be awarded 30 academic credits for their pilot training.
