Sheridan's Honours Bachelor of Film and Television (BFTV) program is designed to launch your career in the motion picture, broadcast, and multimedia industry. Across four years, you'll gain hands-on experience in all facets of film and TV production, from scriptwriting and directing to editing and cinematography. The program emphasizes practical learning, culminating in a portfolio project where you'll collaborate with peers to produce a short film or television piece. Living cost
Applicants need an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including Grade 12 English (ENG4U) and five other Grade 12 subjects at the U or M level, with a minimum overall average of 65%. Alternatively, two semesters of postsecondary education with at least 65% in English and a minimum of 60% in other courses, maintaining an overall 65% average, are acceptable. English proficiency must be demonstrated if English is not the first language.
