student statistics give deadlines, requirements and enrolment counts, but no overall percentage. What the statistics do show is 15,632 students in WS 2024/25, about 21% of them international.

So any single TU Braunschweig acceptance rate you see online is a third-party estimate, not university data. Architecture (Bachelor) is restricted, and Artificial Intelligence for Molecular Sciences (Master) is restricted with special admission requirements. In restricted programs, applicants compete for a limited number of places. In open programs, meeting the requirements is the main hurdle.

How does data science selection work?

The DAAD listing shows a local admission restriction and a selection interview, and the program page asks for at least 25 ECTS credits in basic mathematics. English at C1 level is required, though DAAD also lists an English-only degree of at least two years as an alternative proof. Confirm what the university accepts for your Indian degree.

What does a conditional acceptance mean?

The university says an acceptance can be unconditional or conditional. With a conditional acceptance you must make up certain modules in the first two semesters. The letter is not valid for a later semester.
