The Studierendenwerk collects its part through the university at enrolment and re-registration, as its<a href=\"https:\/\/www.studierendenwerk-goettingen.de\/en\/about-us\/studentenwerk-goettingen-contribution-regulation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> contribution regulation<\/a> states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Will the semester fee change in 2027-28?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, at least one part will rise. The same regulation sets the Studierendenwerk fee at \u20ac157 from summer 2026 and \u20ac167 from summer 2027. That adds Rs.1,081 (\u20ac10) per semester. If the other parts stay unchanged, the winter 2027\/28 fee would be about Rs.53,411 (\u20ac494.18). Check the university&#8217;s page before you pay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fee already moved between semesters. Students enrolled only in these pay the program fee plus the semester contributions, and the long-term fee does not apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Master of International Law (GOMIL) shows what a fee-charging program costs. Its<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-goettingen.de\/en\/fees+and+scholarships\/683245.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> fee page<\/a> lists Rs.9,18,680 (\u20ac8,500) a year for 2027\/28 entry, which is Rs.4,59,340 (\u20ac4,250) per semester, paid in four instalments. The first instalment of 25% is due within six weeks of your offer, and the semester contribution of about Rs.54,040 (\u20ac500) is extra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fee for non-EU students on Euroculture and Sustainable Forest and Nature Management is. Euroculture&#8217;s fee is administered by its consortium secretariat in Groningen, and the DAAD notes that Erasmus Mundus scholarship holders in Sustainable Forest and Nature Management receive a fee waiver. Read each program&#8217;s own fee page before you budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who pays the long-term study fee or the age-60 fee?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students whose study credit has run out pay Rs.54,040 (\u20ac500) per semester on top of the semester fee, according to the university&#8217;s<a href=\"https:\/\/uni-goettingen.de\/de\/41421.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> long-term fee FAQ<\/a>. Your credit is the standard length of your program plus six semesters, counted across all semesters at German universities.
