All conversions use EUR 1 = Rs.108. Exchange rates move, so check the live rate before you transfer money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malta university fees for non-EU students depend on two things: your level of study and whether UM classifies your course as arts\/business or science. The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) course page shows this figure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Science and health:<\/strong> Rs.11.66 lakh (EUR 10,800) a year. BSc (Hons) Radiography and full-time BSc (Hons) Nursing both show it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Over a three-year degree, that is Rs.27.54 lakh (EUR 25,500) for arts and business and Rs.34.99 lakh (EUR 32,400) for science and health. Some health degrees run longer, so multiply by your course&#8217;s duration. If you fail a year and repeat it, the standard annual fee applies again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-957b020\" id=\"strong-what-are-university-of-malta-nursing-fees-strong\" data-block-id=\"957b020\"><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\"><strong>What are University of Malta nursing fees?<\/strong><\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>University of Malta nursing fees for the full-time BSc (Hons) Nursing are Rs.11.66 lakh (EUR 10,800) per year. UM also lists a Preparatory Course for the nursing degree at Rs.11.66 lakh (EUR 10,800) in total. A part-time day version of the nursing degree is listed at Rs.5.83 lakh (EUR 5,400) a year, but it is a separate route with its own entry rules, so check eligibility before you plan around it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-17f0dbe\" id=\"strong-what-are-university-of-malta-medicine-fees-strong\" data-block-id=\"17f0dbe\"><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\"><strong>What are University of Malta medicine fees?<\/strong><\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>University of Malta medicine fees are the highest on the list. The Doctor of Medicine and Surgery costs Rs.28.08 lakh (EUR 26,000) per academic year over a five-year course. That is about Rs.1.40 crore (EUR 130,000) in tuition alone. The Master of Dental Surgery carries the same yearly fee. UM&#8217;s MD course page also says non-Maltese applicants must present the Medical Maltese Proficiency Certificate, or a pass in the Medical Maltese unit of the medical foundation course, before the course starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-baecebf\" id=\"strong-what-does-the-foundation-certificate-cost-strong\" data-block-id=\"baecebf\"><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\"><strong>What does the foundation certificate cost?<\/strong><\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>UM&#8217;s Certificate in Foundation Studies in Humanities and in Health Sciences (Nursing) each cost Rs.7.13 lakh (EUR 6,600) in total. The Medical and Dental Sciences foundation costs Rs.17.28 lakh (EUR 16,000) in total, but UM&#8217;s regulations reserve it for applicants covered by agreements with Kuwait, Oman, and Saudi Arabia and for &#8220;qualified nationals from other non-EU\/EEA countries.&#8221; Confirm your eligibility with UM before counting on this route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Counselor insight:<\/em><\/strong><em> Treat the Rs.1.40 crore MD tuition figure as a floor. It excludes living costs, the Maltese-language requirement, and visa funds. The part-time evening MSc Data Science lists Rs.7.24 lakh (EUR 6,700) in Year 1, Rs.7.24 lakh in Year 2, and nothing in Year 3. That is a payment schedule, not a discount, because the total is still Rs.14.47 lakh. UM&#8217;s schedule is a Rs.1.08 lakh (EUR 1,000) deposit on acceptance, Rs.2.70 lakh (EUR 2,500) in Year 1 Semester 1, and Rs.3.78 lakh (EUR 3,500) in each of the other three semesters. Applicants need at least three years of work experience. An approved extension of studies costs Rs.43,200 (EUR 400) a year at Master&#8217;s level and Rs.64,800 (EUR 600) a year at doctoral level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Counselor insight:<\/em><\/strong><em> A total fee and a yearly fee look alike on a course page but differ by the number of years. Late applications, on courses that accept them, cost Rs.21,600 (EUR 200). UM&#8217;s fee policy calls the application fee non-refundable and says it cannot be moved to another intake. Changing course after you apply costs Rs.2,700 (EUR 25), Rs.3,780 (EUR 35), or Rs.4,860 (EUR 45), depending on how far into the cycle you are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-258beb4\" id=\"strong-what-are-the-2027-28-deadlines-strong\" data-block-id=\"258beb4\"><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\"><strong>What are the 2027-28 deadlines?<\/strong><\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>UM&#8217;s academic year starts in October, applications open from the previous November, and a smaller intake runs in February, according to UM&#8217;s<a href=\"https:\/\/www.um.edu.mt\/study\/datesdeadlines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.um.edu.mt\/study\/datesdeadlines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dates and deadlines page<\/a>. The October 2026 window is closed: the late deadline was 15 September 2026, and non-EU applicants needing a visa had to apply by 1 July 2026. Those are last cycle&#8217;s dates.
