This number is very likely the source of the &#8220;about 60%&#8221; figure that many data pages repeat without a citation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That single Brno University of Technology acceptance rate misleads Indian applicants for three reasons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>BUT counts applications, not people. A student who applies to three programs appears three times, as the page&#8217;s own warning says.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It blends Czech-taught programs, which are free, with English-taught programs, which are paid. Almost every Indian applicant applies to the paid English route.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It mixes eight faculties whose rates range from 11% to 83% in the official tables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2027-28 data note:<\/strong> BUT hasn&#8217;t published 2027-28 statistics, deadlines, or fees. The rates here are the latest official cycle, 2025-26. Deadlines and fee details come from the 2026-27 admissions cycle and are used as a blueprint. Expect BUT to open applications on 1 November 2026, as it did for 2026-27, but confirm this on your faculty page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Counselor insight:<\/em><\/strong><em> When a student tells us &#8220;the Brno University of Technology acceptance rate is about 60%, so I&#8217;m safe,&#8221; we ask which faculty. A 60% blended rate can sit on top of an 11% faculty and an 83% faculty rate.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Your faculty&#8217;s row is the only one that matters. Fine Arts admitted 78 of 701 bachelor&#8217;s applications. Architecture admitted 192 of 600. If you are an engineering or IT applicant, your odds are closer to the middle of the table, but they still depend on the exam and your documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ranking questions sit beside the Brno University of Technology acceptance rate in most searches. <strong>Brno University of Technology ranking<\/strong> figures put the university at<a href=\"https:\/\/www.topuniversities.com\/universities\/brno-university-technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.topuniversities.com\/universities\/brno-university-technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">#588 in the QS World University Rankings 2027<\/a>. We found no verified <strong>Brno university of technology ranking in Europe<\/strong> or <strong>Brno university of technology architecture ranking<\/strong>, so this guide doesn&#8217;t quote one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Study in Brno student portal describes BUT as a leading technical university in Central Europe. That is a promotional description, not a ranking, so use the QS band above for comparison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Counselor insight:<\/em><\/strong><em> Rankings and the Brno University of Technology acceptance rate answer different questions. A university with a #588 global rank and a 61% blended admit rate can still be very competitive for one program. Use the faculty table for odds and the ranking only as a background signal.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Brno_University_of_Technology_Acceptance_Rate_for_International_Students\"><\/span><strong>Brno University of Technology Acceptance Rate for International Students<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>BUT doesn&#8217;t publish a separate <strong>Brno university of technology acceptance rate for international students<\/strong>. It publishes rates by faculty and program, and it doesn&#8217;t label which programs are English-taught. So any Brno University of Technology acceptance rate for Indian students that you see online is an estimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the Brno University of Technology acceptance rate, what BUT does confirm about scale is useful. Its statistics page lists a program called Master of Information Technology with 181 applications and 43 admitted (24%). It lists Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence with 368 applications and 299 admitted (81%). The page doesn&#8217;t say which row is English-taught. FIT&#8217;s English-language master&#8217;s is<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fit.vut.cz\/applicants\/degree-programme-en\/.en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fit.vut.cz\/applicants\/degree-programme-en\/.en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MIT-EN<\/a>, so ask study@fit.vut.cz which row applies to you before treating either number as your odds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FIT&#8217;s English master&#8217;s also uses a personal assessment, not a mass exam. Applicants send a CV with their IT courses and marks, a motivation letter, and their best IT project with source code. FIT says applicants might have up to 2 hours of online interviews, covering prerequisites and programming skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Counselor insight:<\/em><\/strong><em> Program-level rows are where the real Brno University of Technology acceptance rate hides. For MIT-EN-style master&#8217;s programs, your project and your interview matter more than a faculty-wide percentage.
