Most of these scholars choose the medical school, the Faculty of Science and Informatics, or Humanities and Social Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the domestic side, 7,343 students were admitted through Hungary&#8217;s central process for 2026. About 9,360 had applied to Szeged. Dividing those two numbers suggests roughly 78%, which is close to one aggregator&#8217;s figure. It still is not a real acceptance rate, because Hungarian applicants can list several programs. That was the 2026 threshold for general medicine in Hungary&#8217;s domestic system, which scores Hungarian school-leaving exams out of 500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indian students apply through the international process instead: an online application followed by the university&#8217;s own entrance exam and interview. Your CBSE, ISC or state board marks are never converted into Hungarian points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 415 figure shows how popular medicine is among Hungarian students.
