A university might accept PTE for its MBA program but still require <a href=\"https:\/\/leapscholar.com\/blog\/ielts-for-germany-requirement-university-visa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IELTS<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/leapscholar.com\/questions\/what-are-the-english-language-test-requirements-and-my-toefl-score-details-in-germany-for-a-masters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TOEFL<\/a> for an MSc in the same faculty. So &#8220;is PTE accepted in Germany&#8221; does not have one yes-or-no answer. That means two things: every name on it is a genuinely confirmed, primary-source acceptance, but the list may not capture anything Pearson has added since. Before you finalize a shortlist, cross-check any name here against Pearson&#8217;s live institution search at pearsonpte.com\/who-accepts-pte, since recognition only grows over time and rarely gets removed. One note on the table: IAS College is a private preparatory and pathway provider, not a degree-granting university in its own right, so treat that entry differently from the rest of the list if you are shortlisting universities specifically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notice what is genuinely on this list and what is not. Albert-Ludwigs-Universit\u00e4t Freiburg and Frankfurt School of Finance &amp; Management are here, so those two names, often repeated in study-abroad blogs, are correctly cited. FAU Erlangen-N\u00fcrnberg, Goethe University Frankfurt, and Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin are also confirmed research universities on this list and are strong options for Indian students targeting PTE accepted universities in Germany for masters in engineering, business, or the social sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-8deccee\" id=\"strong-universities-commonly-listed-as-accepting-pte-strong\" data-block-id=\"8deccee\"><h2 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Universities_Commonly_Listed_as_Accepting_PTE\"><\/span><strong>Universities Commonly Listed as Accepting PTE<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Search results for &#8220;PTE accepted universities in Germany&#8221; and &#8220;Which university accepts PTE in Germany&#8221; repeatedly name the Technical University of Munich, LMU Munich, and RWTH Aachen as PTE-accepting institutions. Unlike Freiburg and Frankfurt School above, these three do not appear on Pearson&#8217;s own Germany recognition list, and LeapScholar could not independently confirm PTE acceptance on any of these universities&#8217; own admissions pages at the time of writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This does not mean the claims are wrong. Large German universities like TUM do list PTE Academic among accepted English tests for several programs, and admissions pages are updated by faculty rather than a central office, which makes them particularly difficult to track from outside. It means you should not shortlist a university based on a blog post alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reconciliation note on LMU:<\/strong> a companion LeapScholar article on Germany PTE score requirements states that LMU is &#8220;listed among PTE-accepted medical universities. &#8221; That claim is specific to medical and specialized programs, not general admission, and it does not carry a source. Since LMU is absent from Pearson&#8217;s institutional recognition list, this article does not adopt that claim as confirmed fact.
