Former citizens of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan who apply as international candidates must present a valid foreign passport or citizenship document issued before April 30, 2021, along with official proof of cancellation or renunciation of their Chinese nationality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"English_Proficiency_Requirements\"><\/span><strong>English Proficiency Requirements<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you completed your undergraduate degree entirely in English or are a native English speaker, you are generally exempt from submitting a test score. Otherwise, you will need to take one of the following tests <strong>after September 1, 2025<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>IELTS Academic: 7.0 overall<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TOEFL iBT: 100 overall (use institution code C488)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cambridge English Advanced: 185 overall<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CET-6: 600 (China-specific test)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TEM-4: Pass level &#8220;Good&#8221; or above (China-specific test)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Scores must be sent directly from the testing organisation.
