Rockwell Automation&#8217;s 2026 State of Smart Manufacturing report found 90% of manufacturers see digital transformation as essential to stay competitive, with more than half expecting AI-augmented operations by 2030. Engineers Australia has separately called on universities to do more to equip engineers with AI skills for safe, ethical, effective use.
