Most regular 4 to 8 week courses cost ₹10,000 to ₹25,000, and online options tend to be cheaper than classroom coaching.

Is IELTS coaching online or offline better?

Neither wins outright. Online IELTS coaching costs less and fits around a job, suiting working professionals and self-disciplined learners. Offline coaching gives instant, face-to-face feedback and works better if you need structure and peers to stay on track.

Do I really need IELTS coaching, or can I self-study?

It comes down to your current band gap. Within 0.5 of your target, self-study with official materials is often enough. A gap of a full band or more, or scores that swing between sections, usually calls for coaching, since Writing and Speaking mistakes are hard to catch on your own.

Is IELTS coaching fee the same as the IELTS exam fee?

No, they’re separate payments. The IELTS exam fee is fixed by IDP at ₹19,000 for Academic and General Training as of 2026, no matter the city or institute. Coaching fees are set by each institute on their own and vary by format and duration.

How long does IELTS coaching usually take?

Most students need 4 to 8 weeks if their English is already at a moderate level.
