Your employer&#8217;s PRO handles this through the <a href=\"https:\/\/smartservices.icp.gov.ae\/echannels\/web\/client\/default.html#\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ICP portal<\/a>. The PRO (Public Relations Officer) at your company usually takes care of these procedures. The fee for stamping a residency visa is around 200\u2013300 AED, or Rs. 5,072\u2013Rs. 7,608. Usually, the employer pays this fee, but occasionally it is taken out of the first paycheck.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Step 4: Take a medical fitness test. <\/strong>You have to get a medical exam at a health center in the UAE that is approved. Your company will apply for your work permit instead of you once you get a job offer. The employer must renew it before it expires.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>What will happen if you don&#8217;t have one:<\/strong> UAE Labor Law says that you can&#8217;t work without a valid work permit.
