You apply for your degree, and the university checks your citizenship and academic record against each scheme automatically. It is worth up to Rs.68 lakh ($100,000) and covers full tuition, a living allowance of Rs.8.16 lakh ($12,000) per year, up to Rs.2.72 lakh ($4,000) annually for textbooks and one return flight to India, overseas health cover, and on-campus accommodation for the full program. ASHA identifies and nominates candidates, then recommends them to the university. If you meet the residency criteria, contact ASHA directly rather than the University of Sydney scholarships office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Counselor insight:<\/em><\/strong><em> Because this route runs through ASHA and not through the university&#8217;s standard scholarship portal, it rarely appears in generic scholarship round-ups.
