across various policy domains, including <strong>politics, civil service, media<\/strong>, and non-governmental organisations, this residential program unfolds within the esteemed corridors of one of Europe&#8217;s leading academic institutions. However, the programme does not require an academic training background and instead seeks to attract individuals with diverse hands-on experiences in policy-making across the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eligibility_Criteria\"><\/span><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Mid-career professionals, able to demonstrate solid professional experience (minimum 10 years) and potential for future excellence in a given policy area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-motivated and driven, able to autonomously accomplish the activities presented under the fellowship work plan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open-minded and curious individuals willing to engage in peer discussions on topics which may go beyond their area of expertise.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications are welcomed from anywhere in the world, regardless of nationality. Candidates should indicate their preference from the following options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Five months: <\/strong>September 2025 &#8211; January 2026 or February 2026 &#8211; June 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ten months:<\/strong> September 2025 &#8211; June 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Financial_Support\"><\/span><strong>Financial Support<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Grant: <\/strong>Fellows receive a basic grant of <strong>EUR 2,500 or INR 2.2 Lakhs per month.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Family Allowances: <\/strong>Additional allowances are available for partners and dependent children.\n<ul>\n<li>A household allowance of up to <strong>\u20ac300 per month<\/strong> for partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u20ac200 per month<\/strong> for each dependent child, provided they meet eligibility criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No allowance for dependent children over the <strong>age of 26.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Medical Insurance <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Fellows must have adequate medical insurance coverage during their stay. They can either provide proof of their own insurance or subscribe to the EUI&#8217;s private health insurance scheme at their own expense. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eui.eu\/ServicesAndAdmin\/AcademicService\/PracticalInformation\/CignaInsuranceScheme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">See the Cigna Insurance Scheme for conditions<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Residence <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Fellows must reside in the area of Florence for the duration of their Fellowship so that they can take an active part in the activities of the EUI\/STG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Travel Expenses <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Fellows (but not their families) receive reimbursement for the incoming trip from their place of origin to Florence and for the outgoing trip to their destination at the end of their fellowship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>First-class rail (travel by car is also reimbursed on this basis)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Economy class airfare<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The maximum amount for travel reimbursement amounts to <strong>EUR 1,200 or INR 1.1 Lakhs, <\/strong>including both incoming and outgoing trips. Can the fellowship be combined with another job?<\/h5>\n<div class=\"rank-math-answer \">\n\n<p>No, it is not possible to combine the fellowship with another job.
