Aberdeen has not yet published 2027\/28 fees, so treat the number above as a planning baseline and expect a modest increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The online versus on-campus split matters more than any ranking. Heriot-Watt&#8217;s programme carries the same academic title, but studying it online means no Student visa, no time in the UK and no Graduate Route. If your goal is UK work experience, an online MBA in Business Analytics in UK does not deliver it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Counselor insight:<\/em><\/strong><em> Bring your shortlist to a counselling call with the university course pages open, not an aggregator table. Almost every Indian student we speak to who has shortlisted &#8220;five UK universities for MBA Business Analytics&#8221; is actually holding a list of four MSc programmes and one general MBA. The program is open to graduates of any discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What Indian applicants should note:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Marks:<\/strong> a 2:1 equivalent generally maps to roughly 60% and above from a recognised Indian university, though every institution assesses transcripts individually.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>GMAT:<\/strong> Aberdeen&#8217;s page lists no GMAT requirement. This contradicts the widespread claim that a 650 to 700 <a href=\"https:\/\/leapscholar.com\/exams\/gmat\">GMAT <\/a>is needed for a UK analytics MBA. That claim comes from general MBA programs at highly selective schools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>English:<\/strong> you will need an approved test at the level your university specifies. For the visa, make sure you take the correct version required by your institution and by UK Visas and Immigration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reference:<\/strong> an employer reference on letterhead, or from a key client or business partner if you are self-employed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If your English score falls slightly short, many UK institutions issue a conditional offer tied to a pre-sessional English course of five to ten weeks before the program starts. This is common and not a mark against your file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Counselor insight:<\/em><\/strong><em> The professional reference derails more Indian applications than any test score. Managers go on leave, HR refuses to sign anything beyond an employment letter, and the file sits open for weeks. The<a href=\"https:\/\/www.internationalstudents.cam.ac.uk\/student-visa-application\/student-visa-application-fees\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Student visa fee is \u00a3558<\/a> from 8 April 2026, and the Immigration Health Surcharge is charged at \u00a3776 per year of permission granted, with \u00a3388 payable for a part-year period of six months or less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The maintenance requirement is the one that decides your visa. For Student route applications made on or after 11 November 2025,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukcisa.org.uk\/news\/student-update-changes-to-the-student-and-graduate-rules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> UKCISA confirms<\/a> that applicants must evidence \u00a31,529 (Rs.1,94,795) per month for study in London or \u00a31,171 (Rs.1,49,185) per month outside London, for a maximum of nine months. That produces \u00a313,761 (Rs.17,53,151) for London and \u00a310,539 (Rs.13,42,669) elsewhere, on top of any unpaid tuition shown on your CAS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The evidence rules are strict.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukcisa.org.uk\/student-advice\/visas-and-immigration\/student-route-eligibility-and-requirements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> UKCISA states<\/a> that your bank statements must show the full required amount held for 28 consecutive days up to the closing balance date, with the balance never dropping below that amount, and the closing date must be no more than 31 days old when you submit. Funds must be cash and immediately accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that some sources are circulating a claim that this holding period has been cut to 14 days. UKCISA guidance still says 28. Plan for 28 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Exchange rate used: Rs.127.40 per pound sterling. Verify the current rate against RBI reference rates before finalising your budget. A two-rupee move on a Rs.30 lakh remittance is roughly Rs.47,000.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Counselor insight:<\/em><\/strong><em> The most common refusal we see on UK files is not a weak profile. It is a bank balance that dipped for a single day inside the 28-day window because a parent moved money between accounts. Freeze the account.
