They are not. For a full-time degree or diploma, the Student Pass is the only route. Your spouse or children can apply for a Dependent Pass linked to your Student Pass, subject to your university&#8217;s sponsorship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Counselor insight:<\/em><\/strong><em> Students often search for &#8220;Malaysia student visa apply online&#8221; and end up on agent websites. The only legitimate application route is through your university and the EMGS portal. Admissions teams read that as borrowed money. Get a professional studio photo on a white background, and run it through the EMGS <strong>Online Photo Checker<\/strong> before upload. The same photo is printed on your i-Kad, so selfies and edited images are rejected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Counselor insight:<\/em><\/strong><em> The most common delay we see in the Malaysia student visa documents stage is a passport expiring too early. The eVisa portal may add its own processing charge at checkout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On top of these charges, your university collects the <strong>RM 750 (Rs. 17,250) personal bond<\/strong>.
