The National Institute of Genetics (NIG) functions as the Genetics Program of The Graduate University for Advanced Studies, SOKENDAI and offers graduate programs in Genetics. It offers a research internship program for undergraduate and postgraduate students who wish to gain research experience in genetics and related fields in life sciences. Upon completion, interns will share their experiences at the &#8220;NIGINTERN Reports Symposium&#8221; through presentations. NIG will issue a certificate to those who have completed the program. Interns are encouraged to partake in additional activities, including graduate program lectures, journal clubs, and seminars conducted by distinguished researchers both within and outside of NIG. Complete assignments, tasks, and projects associated with the internship program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in the project for the full term of the internship (on a full-time basis, five days a week until the end of the designated term).
