Goldsmiths has a progression agreement for graduates of the Indian School of Design and Innovation (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gold.ac.uk\/international\/information-for-prospective-partner-students\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Goldsmiths<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These pages say they accept international qualifications but publish no single conversion for Indian degrees. The two-year total is our calculation, so confirm it with UAL. Fees exclude course materials and equipment, which UAL lists separately under<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arts.ac.uk\/study-at-ual\/fees-and-funding\/study-costs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> study costs<\/a>. The<a href=\"https:\/\/study-uk.britishcouncil.org\/en\/moving-uk\/student-visas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> British Council<\/a> lists the application fee as \u00a3558 (Rs.70,330) and the Immigration Health Surcharge as \u00a3776 per year (Rs.97,807). You can apply up to six months before your course starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You must also show enough money for your first-year course fees (up to nine months) plus living costs.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/student-visa\/money?fs=e\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> GOV.UK<\/a> currently lists \u00a31,529 a month for London, up to nine months (\u00a313,761, or Rs.17,34,436).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For applications made on or after 30 November 2026, the Home Office&#8217;s Statement of Changes HC 584 raises this to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.emgs.global\/blog\/uk-student-visa-funding-requirements-updates\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> \u00a31,570 a month in London, a \u00a314,130 maximum<\/a> (Rs.17,80,945). A September 2027 applicant will apply after that date, so plan for \u00a314,130 plus the unpaid balance of first-year fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After your degree, the Graduate Route lets you stay to work or look for work. For bachelor&#8217;s and master&#8217;s graduates who apply on or after 1 January 2027, it drops from two years to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lboro.ac.uk\/services\/isas\/visa-advice\/grroute\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> 18 months<\/a>. Check each scholarship&#8217;s eligibility and deadline, because they differ by course. Against UAL&#8217;s \u00a322,620 annual fee, \u00a310,000 covers only part of the cost, so the idea of studying a masters in design in London for free is unrealistic for most applicants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Counselor insight:<\/em><\/strong><em> Apply for scholarships alongside your course application. You need \u00a340,200 + \u00a314,130 = \u00a354,330 (Rs.68,47,753).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>If you have design experience but a lower degree classification,<\/strong> Goldsmiths and UAL both weigh experience. Goldsmiths needs \u00a329,500 + \u00a314,130 = \u00a343,630 (Rs.54,99,125).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>If your IELTS is 6.0 overall,<\/strong> you miss UAL&#8217;s 6.5. The RCA&#8217;s English course route may apply at 6.0 with 5.5 in written English.
