The MJur is designed for civil-law graduates, so Indian LLB holders should apply to the BCL. The SRA treats anyone holding a professional legal qualification with rights to practice in another jurisdiction as a qualified lawyer, and qualified lawyers do not need two years of QWE. A masters in law in UK does not add to or replace that. The Bar Council of India&#8217;s list of recognized foreign universities applies to foreign LLB degrees, and those graduates also sit BCI&#8217;s qualifying examination for foreign law degree holders.
