PTE To IELTS: All About Converting Your scores!

PTE & IELTS are the two most generally approved examinations besides TOEFL.

Some universities demand a PTE score while some require an IELTS score. But you don't have to take both. Because you can convert your scores!

IELTS has 4 sections: • Reading • Listening • Writing • Speaking

IELTS has 2 variants: • The IELTS Academic test • The IELTS General Training test

PTE Tests are divided into 3 categories: • PTE Academic • PTE Business English • PTE General / Young Learners

Many universities accept the PTE to IELTS conversion. The range of PTE scores is 10 to 90. IELTS score band is from 1 to 9.

The majority of prestigious schools accept a band score of 7 or above.

Some portions of the PTE test are believed to be simpler to score than sections of the IELTS exam. Candidates have the option of taking mock tests for both.
