The minimum bank balance to study in South Korea for Indian students on a full-time degree program (D-2 visa applications) will drop from INR ~16L to INR ~12L

There's more: That financial requirement drops even lower for Indians in South Korea applying outside South Korea's major cities, where the new benchmarks are ~10L for D-2s and ~5L for D-4 visas. 

Korean proficiency tests to work now include the online King Sejong Institute level test, the Korean Language Ability Test, and the previously used Test of Proficiency in Korean. 

Relaxation in Korean language proficiency 

The number of years in Korea required for a longer-term E-7-4 visa has been reduced from five to four years.

Decreased number of work years for longer-term visa 

Hiring restrictions on foreign workers (including Indian students in South Korea) have now been eased for Korean employers.
