Canada has always shown interest in caring for its international students. As the latest update, Immigration Minister Sean Fraser announced a temporary lift of the 20-hour work limit on student permits.
From 15th November till 31st of December 2022, students can work over 20 hours a week. This will also be applicable to those who have already applied for study permit.
Studies have revealed that due to universities' unique work and study arrangements, those who study in Canada have no trouble finding employment. Students are also permitted to work in Canada for three years following graduation with the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
Additionally, 21,000 new jobs were announced in Canada in September. The industries of manufacturing, transportation, and warehousing have the most open positions. The minimum wage has also increased in these fields!
Canada has also announced new developments in express entry rules, immigration, and more. If you are thinking of moving abroad, Canada is truly the first place you should consider!
